My full name is Amit Gajurel. I was born and brought up in Kathmandu, Nepal. Kathmandu is the capital city of Nepal. Although when I grew up, it was still a quite town.

I am currently a PhD student at Texas A&M University. I am working on using Synthetic Aperture Radar (SAR) in transportation and geotechnical engineering relm. My background is civil engineering with an interest data analytics, remote sensing, and asset management.
